Have you looked at your Kindermusik schedule and said, "Oh no! Classes start next week! I'm too late." You're never too late! As my studio is growing, I have the option to push back the dates of my classes as enrollment grows. So a class you were interested in may not have started yet. Check my schedule by clicking the ENROLL NOW button to your left to see my schedule and class start dates.
If there is a class you want to join but it has already started, there is good news. I prorate tuition, so you can still join the class and just pay the tuition for the remaining classes you'll attend.
I would love to have you enroll in a class today so we can start having some fun! :) If you'd like to try a free class to get a feel of what Kindermusik is like, please let me know and I'd be happy to have you come and play with us!

Why Music?
WHY MUSIC? “Some people think music education is a privilege, but I think it’s essential to being human.”-singer/songwriter Jewel
This quote makes me feel proud that I can provide a musical education for my son. It is evident to me that music is already enriching his life in so many ways. As he sits and listens to his Kindermusik CD (or Mozart, or a number of the other children's CD's we have), he quietly plays with his trucks and I can just see how much he is absorbing and learning. I am proud that I keep the TV off at my house, and equally proud to be a "music junkie." When Jonah asks for "more more!" music, I can always gladly give him as much as he wants and know that it is good for him through and through. Don't we get tired of telling our kids "no"? It is so nice to be able to let them win and give them something so vital to their growth. Music keeps us happy. Music is a privilege, but also essential.

DEMO CLASS, Kindermusik website down
Are you interested in Kindermusik, but not sure if you want to commit to a full unit? I will be holding demo classes on TUESDAY, MARCH 8 and THURSDAY, MARCH 10--@ 9:40am, New Hope Bible Church (450 N. Chestnut Str. #4). Please join us to see what a Kindermusik class is like. The class is FREE and there is no obligation to enroll.
Also, the Kindermusik International website: www.kindermusik.com is currently having some technical difficulties and has been down for the last several days. If you have been trying to enroll online, please keep checking back and hopefully they will have it up and running soon.

we're almost there!
I should be officially licensed by the end of this week! I am so excited to be a Kindermusik educator...I can't wait to wiggle with some little cuties! ;)
On a side note, my son is currently in the Our Time: Fiddle-Dee-Dee class led at http://www.kindermusikoflincoln.com/. He absolutely loves it. The take-home CD is on at our house all day. I told his teacher that it is a "bad-behavior eliminator." If he is having a terrible-two's tantrum, I pop in the CD and he is instantly okay. When there is a pause between songs, he asks/signs for "more!" We love it! It makes me so happy to see how much he loves music. Kindermusik is a big part of his little world right now, and I'm thankful to be able to present him with such a variety of good music and fun take-home activities.

update
I took a short break from Kindermusik in the last week. My mom had surgery to have a brain tumor removed and I needed to be with family. She is doing well and is at home. :) You can expect to see more from me as I finalize some details to open up the studio and get classes rolling!
